A Lunch and Learn is an inexpensive way to educate employees on topics that will benefit them and, in turn, benefit your company. It can be held during lunch or before or after the work day.

Secure a location, i.e. conference room, break room. It is important that the location is easily accessible to employees.

Book a speaker. It is excellent to network within your company. Ask employees if they know anyone who works in the fitness, financial, nutritional or mental health fields. Many of these resources exist in the local community.

Set a time or times for the sessions. If you have a large group, break the Lunch and Learn into two or more sessions. This gives all employees the opportunity to attend.

Invite all employees and give them reasons why the Lunch and Learn will be beneficial to them.

Day of Lunch and Learn Tips:

  • Set up any technology/props speaker may need.
  • Provide drinks for speakers.
  • Have employees sign in for each session.
